The SM-100 is only 36 inches (3 feet) wide — the narrowest machine in our fleet. It can fit through standard single gates, narrow side yards, and spaces that are completely inaccessible to larger track loaders. If you have a tight access situation, this is the machine.
The SM-100 is significantly smaller and lighter (2,690 lbs vs. 8,200 lbs) and much narrower (36 inches vs. 65 inches). It is designed for tight access landscaping and light material moving. The SVL-65 is more powerful and capable for heavier work like grading, clearing, and moving large volumes of material. If you need to get through a narrow gate or work in a confined space, the SM-100 is the right choice.
Yes — the SM-100 is ideal for mulch spreading, topsoil distribution, and light grading in landscaped areas. Its 1,190 lb rated operating capacity handles a full bucket of mulch or topsoil easily. The narrow width and rubber tracks also protect lawns and finished surfaces better than larger machines.
